The Bailey Road Park Trail is located in a 66-acre park. The Carolina Thread Trail portion is 0.5 miles that winds through the section of the park closest to Bailey Road and then continues down Old Statesville Road.

Description

The Carolina Thread Trail uses a 0.5-mile section at the corner of Bailey Road and Old Statesville Road nearest to the baseball/softball fields and disc golf course in Bailey Road Park. Bailey Road Park is 66-acre park with numerous amenities such as tennis courts, multi-purpose synthetic turf field and a batting cage. There is a stunning band shell that has hosted numerous musical attractions. On the opposite end of the park from the Carolina Thread Trail, is Bailey Middle School and Bailey Road Recreation Center.
