Description

The Carolina Thread Trail segment of the park starts across Old Mocksville Road from the larger softball field within Ellis Park. From near the #7 disc golf tee, the trail follows the course past the equestrian center.

Ellis Park itself includes a fully accessible playground, featuring accessible swings, musical instruments, slides, merry-go-round, and more. Rowan County Website. The Therapeutic Division for Rowan County Parks and Recreation is also located at Ellis Park. This is a program to make recreation available for individuals with disabilities. Other activities and programs at the park include The Senior Games and Silver Arts division for Rowan County Parks and Recreation.
