Traversing the scenic natural setting and undulating topography, the Carolina Thread Trail at Mountain Creek Park is approximately 11 miles of mostly natural surface trail that affords visitors to the park plenty of opportunity to explore.  Outdoor amenities are abound in this 600-acre natural gem, which is Catawba County’s newest regional park.  While the Carolina Thread Trail designation is 11 miles, there are even more trail opportunities as the Park offers nearly 20 miles of trail, including a 1-mile paved greenway for enhanced accessibility to enjoy the many amenities offered by the adjacent quiet coves Lake Norman.  Check out Catawba County’s Park website to learn about the numerous outdoor opportunities available at the Park.
