Pharr Mill Park is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Wildlife Habitat. The segment of the Carolina Thread Trail passes a fishing pond with dock, a large enclosed playground and a couple of horsehoe pits. In the middle of the park is the site of the original Rocky River Presbyterian Church,1751-1776. The park is operated by the Town of Harrisburg in partnership with Cabarrus County.
