This easy 1.1-mile paved greenway weaves through a west Charlotte residential neighborhood, crossing Stewart Creek several times. Benches and overlooks encourage observation at a rehabilitated wetland near Lakewood Ave. A mural enhances the trail at the underpass of Parkway Ave.

Description

The paved 1.1-mile greenway segment follows Stewart Creek to the Lakewood neighborhood, where a spacious wetland features overlooks for relaxation and observation of wildlife. Walkers and cyclists can easily access the greenway from Yellowstone Dr, Coronet Way, Norwood Dr, and Lakewood Ave. The underpass at Parkway Ave showcases a colorful mural celebrating Charlotte's west side.
