Description

"Safrit Park is a 17-acre athletic facility with a playground, picnic shelter, two softball fields, a soccer field, a ½ mile paved walking trail, restrooms, and concession facilities. The park is open daily, though hours vary from season to season." Kannapolis Website The Carolina Thread Trail segment runs along side of the Irish Buffalo Creek which is home to a host of plants and wildlife.
