Way longer than 2 miles, we went 3.25 before we turned back. It was beautiful and quiet but we ended up with ticks galore. My husband had 8 on him and I had 13, we only took 2 dogs and for days we found ticks on them. Because of the ticks, we will not go back.

Lovely trail. I saw trout lilies, hepatica, green and gold, and biolets in bloom today.

We hiked the trail on 7/26/2022 and shortly after the trail started there was a tree/bush down which blocked the path. We did go off the trail to go around it and the rest of the trail was fine. This was our first time on this trail so I don't know how long this blockage had been there (but it looked like it has been there awhile).
