The Andrew Jackson State Park is dedicated to our seventh US president and home to a 1.1-mile segment of the Carolina Thread Trail. There is a total of 2.1 miles of trail to be enjoyed throughout the park.
The Antiquity Greenway provides a 0.8-mile route, along and through interesting structures, from the Antiquity community in Cornelius to the South Prong Rocky River Greenway/ Southeast Greenway/ Davidson Greenway.
This 1-mile sidewalk route at Atrium Health Lincoln hospital meanders through trees, around two ponds, and past sitting areas. The Carolina Thread Trail portion of the loop is 0.6 miles.
This paved, 2.7-mile greenway has several neighborhood entrances in Gastonia. Several small bridges cross over the creeks. There are numerous areas with information about the various species of birds that can be seen along the trail.
The Backside Trail starts at the Linwood Road Access and winds 0.5 miles to connect to the Crowders Trail for a day of nature at Crowders Mountain Sate Park.
The Bailey Road Park Trail is located in a 66-acre park. The Carolina Thread Trail portion is 0.5 miles that winds through the section of the park closest to Bailey Road and then continues down Old Statesville Road.
The Bakers Creek Greenway and 8th Street Greenway connect near Bakers Creek Park. Of this system, 1.5 miles of trail are marked as the Carolina Thread Trail.
This 2-mile greenway in Ballantyne serves for work or play. Connecting Lower McAlpine Creek Greenway with "The Bowl" in Ballantyne Corporate Park, the greenway passes offices, hotels, parks, and venues along the way.
